Restaurant Director/Manager

Our client in Saudi Arabia who operates very high end trendy Restaurants plus has outstanding Catering/Event operations is currently looking for a Restaurant Director/Manager for a new opening restaurant, someone who would like to join their enthusiastic team.

As Restaurant Director/Manager you will be responsible to effectively manage the daily operations of the new restaurant operations while providing the support, training and guidance to the employees in order to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. You will oversee the implementation of standards as per policy & procedure and manage operations ensuring the highest quality and standard. You will anticipate market changes, review operations when necessary and will handle guest complaints professionally.

Responsibilities;
• Maintain visibility during service hours and occupancy in order to ensure smooth running and to promote good public relations
• Achieve restaurant operational objectives
• Prepare and complete action plans
• Identify trends, determine improvements & implement change
• Organize and conduct departmental meetings well as conducting monthly training sessions
• Control the appropriate and safe usage of food and beverage items and service equipment
• Ensure that the physical facilities and equipment are well kept and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to
• Manage and control stock
• Inspect the service areas and supervise the restaurant order preparation to ensure the food quality and service delivery are according to standards.
• Good English language skills – plus any additional language knowledge would be an advantage
• Charismatic and outgoing personality.
• Ability in lead a large team ~ of 40 staff.
• Strong attention to detail. Good follow up skills.
• Ability to manage restaurant, training and deliver 5* service (Royalty are guests at the restaurant)

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years in a similar position in a 5* property or high end restaurant.
Hospitality Management qualification
Great presence, up to date in trends and used to working with high end clientele.
Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is a must.
