Job Description

Our client who manages a large 5* high end banquet operation in Saudi Arabia is currently looking for an experienced & energetic Banquet Manager to manage the overall operations for their banquet, events and function facilities.

One of the prime responsibilities of the Banquet Manager is to maintain excellent customer relationship (before, during and after the functions/events have completed).

This position will focus on all operational activities including the financial performance of the department, managing the team as well, as developing sales and marketing plans to promote the department's revenues.

The right candidate will have a background working in 4*/5* Hotels/Resorts or other hospitality facilities offering high end banqueting. Will enjoy a hands-on management role, to lead the team. The Banquet Manager will work well as part of the team and will have the skills and abilities to work in a multicultural environment. We are looking for an experienced Banquet Manager who will work together with the Executive Management to oversee & manage different high end / luxury events & banquets ~ both indoor & outdoor.

Key Attributes:
• Must have at least 3-5years' experience in high end Banquet/Function/Event operations
• Must have background in servicing client requirements for VIP functions/events
• Very social personality
• Must be able to significantly contribute towards achieving KPIs and set goals
• Able to set budgets and have a strong hold on controlling costs
• Fluent in English and any another additional languages would be an asset
• Able to train and coach the large team and lead by example
• Showcase clear emphasis on quality and maintain excellent guest service at all times
• Capable to work on cost control, budgets and supervise other required details of the department's financial records
• Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail. Good follow up skills.
• Ability to manage large team.
• A good all-around Manager ~ experience in volume banqueting (indoor and outdoor)
• Recognised hospitality qualification or equivalent for gaining the work permit.
