Job Description

Our client who manages a high end boutique hotel in the UK is currently looking for an experienced General Manager.

The role is as hotel and operational manager for the hotel ensuring all departments perform successfully to their maximum efficiency. In addition, to ensure the success and sustainability of the hotel in achieving its objectives by deploying best practice business excellence processes and policies, empowerment and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities include; oversee the hotel and management team in execution of the business strategy ensuring the Business Excellence. Conduct frequent inspections of the hotel operations to ensure service excellence is maintained. Verify that the best products are used in the hotel operation. Take responsibility for the timely delivery of capital projects within the property to ensure company assets are effectively maintained. Ensure health, safety, hygiene and other relevant legislative obligations are fulfilled, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the hotel, guests and colleagues. Actively participate in relevant business meetings to facilitate effective communication.

Main skills would include;
• Previous Experience in 4*/5* Star Hotels ideally with experience in Resort Hotels
• F&B and Rooms experience
• Savvy Revenue Management & Sales and Marketing
• Hospitality Qualification
