Senior Sous Chef

Job Description

An exciting position has become available for a talented Chef for our client in Germany. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Sous Chef (German speaking) who is able oversee bringing in and developing new ideas for our clients extensive F&B operation.

The ideal candidate will bring with them 5*/4* hotel background, have overseen high volume/multi outlet restaurants plus high end banqueting. We are ideally looking for a Chef with European and possibly some international experience. They should have experience in setting up new concepts and ideally bring with them some Michelin exposure.

The position oversees quality and training of staff to deliver high quality product, develops new ideas / menus etc. for the multi-outlets. The Senior Sous Chef must be able to cook, be very creative and knowledgeable of new market trends etc. also be able to take an idea and be able to convert it into large volume banqueting, whilst maintaining standards. Strong Personality and ability to work under pressure, The Senior Sous Chef needs to have good communication skills and enjoys guest interaction.
Should ideally have some Michelin or Gault Millau experience - plus banqueting. This position would suit a Chef who is more focused quality, development of new ideas for F&B outlets & training etc.

We are ideally looking for someone who has experience as an Head Chef or is a strong Sous Chef. German language skills (written & spoken) mandatory. This position reports to the “Kuchendirektor”
